Continuing on possible
goals or businesses for 2018

It's important to remember that whichever field, career, or business you choose, be sure it works with YOU and for YOU.
Your personality, your habits, your preferences in almost everything, because one goal is to stick with it.
Are you a morning person?  A night owl?
Do you have the basic tools to start without too much capital?
Do you have any capital?
Depending on your choice of business or career,
you may need some basic tools to start off.
I recommend starting with as little as you can because you don't want to start of with bills or broke, right?

For example, you want to be part time delivery person for small offices. You provide your business card with hours and fee schedule;
your fee for a list of delivery types.
NEXT

What would you need for this business?
Personal vehicle or moped/scooter with hard case
to carry documents & small packages.
Auto insurance; business insurance, business license.
Gas.
Business cards you either print yourself or pay a printer for.
Mobile phone; smart phones if you can afford it -
comes with alarm, calendar, email, Internet access.
What else do you think you NEED?
Start with the basics to get you several contracts,
then improve your tools as you make some money.
Build slowly but surely and be sure
to give GREAT customer service!
Build your reputation for reliability & satisfaction.
Survey your customers monthly or annually and when a contract terminates (either by yourself or the customer).
It's good to know how you stand where you can do better for future reference.
Use the great surveys you receive to attract more customers.

You can also use the list above to create your budget.
Having a written budget can help you keep track
of expenses and income; lots of free templates on the Internet!

I'm sure many of you are tech savvy and great with Internet searches and doing your own research.
For those who are NOT, you can visit the local library,
borrow a family member's computer or a business center.

Try to start with as little expenses in the beginning and
build your income.  Set realistic goals.
Do not give up.
If things don't work out.
Figure out why and learn from that.
At this point, you can either correct things and try again
or try another venture.
Whatever you do, do not give up
on your dreams!
