Advent and getting ready for Christmas!

#Advent is upon us!

These first few days have been busy ones
and I am very happy
that we started it right with Mass and lighting of the first Advent candle of #HOPE.

I also started my nobena for the
Immaculate Conception November 30 and ends on December 8th,
the Blessed Mother's Feast day
our island's patron saint feast day,
Santa Marian Kamalen.

Wishing everyone, near and far, manamko and children a blessed Advent season.

HOW TO SAVOR ADVENT
Seek reconciliation.
Focus on good deeds.
Create and "Advent Chain".
Participate in a Giving Tree.
Volunteer your time.
Create your own Jesse tree.
Make homemade gifts for each person
in your family.

Living Life to the Fullest!

#November blessings!
Favorite people include #MaryDavis, author of #EveryDaySpirit.  I love her thoughtful quotes that seem to touch me in a special way and guides me to reflect on my personal goings on each time I read one of her posts.  Some days, it's as if she is speaking to me directly and it's just what I needed in that moment!  I also tribute these to my sweetest Jesus, for every blessing, and who knows what I need each moment of my life.

I have many, many #favoritepeople who I am so grateful for and love to the moon and back.  My hubby, Henry Dean Tydingco Dela Cruz, my siblings, Christine Margaret Flores-Dela Cruz/TINA, Laverne Roslyn Flores/VERNE, +Vincent Mark Flores/BOBOY, Mary Elizabeth Flores/MARE, and Timothy Bryan Flores/TIM... their partners and children are also very special to me in one way or another, and of course, my extended family members!  So many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and our beautiful #Godchildren!

#IAMBLESSED!

November is a favorite month. Simply because it falls during the autumn season.  While I am an island girl, I do love this special season!  Cooler temps, beautiful flaming colors, and pumpkin patches!  Things slow down and it's a time for reflection and thoughtful consideration of the year coming to a close, a new one coming upon us, and #Thanksgiving & #Christmas arrives and we focus on family and friends and all of our blessings. #partytime!

When you are not sure what to do:
KEEP CALM AND BE CRAZY,
#LAUGH, #LOVE AND #LIVE IT UP
BECAUSE THIS IS THE OLDEST YOU'VE BEEN
AND THE YOUNGEST YOU'LL EVERY BE AGAIN.

As we enjoy November and thanksgiving meals with loved ones, I wish you joy in your heart, good food in your tummy, and love that only your special ones can give you.

Abiding in love,

Continuing on possible
goals or businesses for 2018

It's important to remember that whichever field, career, or business you choose, be sure it works with YOU and for YOU.
Your personality, your habits, your preferences in almost everything, because one goal is to stick with it.
Are you a morning person?  A night owl?
Do you have the basic tools to start without too much capital?
Do you have any capital?
Depending on your choice of business or career,
you may need some basic tools to start off.
I recommend starting with as little as you can because you don't want to start of with bills or broke, right?

For example, you want to be part time delivery person for small offices. You provide your business card with hours and fee schedule;
your fee for a list of delivery types.
NEXT

What would you need for this business?
Personal vehicle or moped/scooter with hard case
to carry documents & small packages.
Auto insurance; business insurance, business license.
Gas.
Business cards you either print yourself or pay a printer for.
Mobile phone; smart phones if you can afford it -
comes with alarm, calendar, email, Internet access.
What else do you think you NEED?
Start with the basics to get you several contracts,
then improve your tools as you make some money.
Build slowly but surely and be sure
to give GREAT customer service!
Build your reputation for reliability & satisfaction.
Survey your customers monthly or annually and when a contract terminates (either by yourself or the customer).
It's good to know how you stand where you can do better for future reference.
Use the great surveys you receive to attract more customers.

You can also use the list above to create your budget.
Having a written budget can help you keep track
of expenses and income; lots of free templates on the Internet!

I'm sure many of you are tech savvy and great with Internet searches and doing your own research.
For those who are NOT, you can visit the local library,
borrow a family member's computer or a business center.

Try to start with as little expenses in the beginning and
build your income.  Set realistic goals.
Do not give up.
If things don't work out.
Figure out why and learn from that.
At this point, you can either correct things and try again
or try another venture.
Whatever you do, do not give up
on your dreams!

Hafa adai islanders!
Another day in paradise; enjoy your Sunday

Believe you can and you're half way there.
 ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.

Gratitude in advance is the most powerful creative force in the universe.

BE grateful.
BE amazing.
BE the best version of you.
BE helpful.
BE kind.
BE forgiving.
BE YOU.
Nothing worth having comes easy.
 Take things easy
but don't look for easy.

Every day may not be good but there's good in every day.

Find the GOOD in EVERY day.
It's there... in your child's smile;
in that quarter tank of gas to get you where you need to go;
in your sister's words of encouragement;
in your parent's belief in you;
in the little things that matter most.
Count your blessings!

We don't grow when things are easy.  We grow when we face challenges.

It's wonderful when things are easy, but let's take on those hard times with grit and faith.
Don't stop believing!

KEEP THE FAITH
YOU ARE BLESSED
